The Certificate of Merit award is presented to a frater for outstanding and exemplary service at the international or chapter level of Alpha Omega for over ten years.

Bill has been active in Alpha Omega since his student days. He held every line position in the Montreal Alumni Chapter and was President of Alpha Omega Mount Royal Dental Society. He served as
the Chairman of the Dental Division of UJA Montreal and, for five years, chaired the Israel Bonds committee of AO. He was also honoured as the Man of the Year for Israel Bonds.
Internationally he has been a valued member of the Finance Committee for many years and served on the steering committee for many international conventions. He is a former Vice-President of Congregation Chevra Kadisha, one of the largest orthodox synagogues in Montreal. He is a clinical instructor at the Dental Faculty of McGill University.
It is my greatest honour to present Bill for this year's Certificate of Merit for his lifelong devotion to Alpha Omega.
