Start an Alpha Omega Chapter at Your School

Bring Alpha Omega to your campus and build a community focused on leadership, service, and professional growth.

How to Get Started

Starting a student chapter begins with interest from a small group of students and support from your institution. Alpha Omega will guide you through the process step by step.

Our team provides structure, resources, and ongoing support to help you establish a successful and sustainable chapter.

Why Start an AO Chapter?

AO Student Chapter Activity

Since 1907, Alpha Omega has provided a strong professional community rooted in leadership, service, and lasting connection. Starting a student chapter gives your campus the opportunity to become part of that tradition while building something meaningful for current students and future alumni.

A student chapter creates opportunities for mentorship, friendship, professional growth, and deeper engagement within the dental school community.

What Student Chapters Do

AO student chapters participate in philanthropic initiatives, service projects, mentorship programs, and local and international events. Each chapter develops its own identity while remaining part of a broader global network.

These experiences help students build leadership skills, strengthen professional relationships, and contribute to their communities.

Support From AO

Alpha Omega will guide you through every step of the process. Our leadership team is available to answer questions, provide structure, and help your group successfully establish a chapter.

Alumni chapters often support student chapters, and even where none exist locally, AO members are eager to connect and help you get started.
