While the Alpha Omega Foundation, US with the support of other Foundations, Trusts, andIndividual Chapters are quite successful in raising funds for specific projects and programs, theday-to-day direction of the Foundation and its ability to sustain its grant awards program dependsgreatly on the stability and growth of its corpus. To that extent, the participation of all of ourmembers, convention registrants and those not attending the annual convention, are asked to jointhe annual “Foundation and Chai Clubs.” Each member or member chapter that joins becomeseligible for a myriad of prizes of arts, crafts, judaica, jewelry, etc. Also of importance to thesustainability of the Foundation are annual events at the convention, namely a huge auction (liveand silent) of items, services, trips, etc., an annual golf tournament, and a special gala eveningat an exceptionally popular venue at the convention city. In Arizona, we will be treated to anoutstanding evening of private dining and viewing of a spectacular presentation at the famousPhoenix Botanical Gardens. The date for 2012 is December 27. Reservations should be madeearly as the evening is usually a “sell out.” See the attached flyers for detailed information.
